Santa Pola and its beaches,

Undoubtedly, one of the major attractions of Santa Pola are its beaches.

Year after year Santa Pola has several Blue Flags, an international recognition that the European Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and ADEAC awards to beaches that meet strict quality criteria.

Likewise, Santa Pola has 26 AENOR flags, making it the second municipality in Spain with the highest number of beach flags.

Seven of its beaches are classified as urban and six as natural, which are listed below:

Urban Beaches:

• Tamarit
• Playa Lisa
• Gran Playa (punto accesible)
• Levante (punto accesible)
• Calas de Santiago Bernabeu
• Varadero
• Calas Santa Pola del Este

Natural Beaches:

• El Pinet
• La Gola
• Calas de l’Aljub
• Bancal de l’Arena
• Calas del Cuartel
• Ermita
